Coach - Kevin Markham

Bike Racer, Endurance Rider, Father

Kevin is from Northern California, spent 23 years in the Army, where he served as a Drill Instructor and a Master Fitness Trainer.


After he retired he started getting serious about cycling and raced Cyclocross in the Seattle area and has worked in various cycling related jobs over the years.. 


After moving to Reno Nevada, he became involved with Project Hero, where he became a ride leader. Doing several endurances rides with them, San Antonino to Houston TX, across Nevada on Hwy 50 and San Fransico to Los Angeles CA. 


In 2021 he got into gravel events completing several in CA and NV.  In 2022 he joined Team One Mile and rode from Key West to Jacksonville FL.


He is also the Cycling Coordinator and, on the Executive Committee for United States Military Endurance Sports (USMES).  


He enjoys helping fellow cyclists and leads group rides.  He is familiar with how we coach since he's been one of our athletes for several seasons!

TrainingPeaks Level 1 Coach 

 US Army Master Fitness Trainer
