Be Better Coaching offers virtual mobility and strength training to our athletes. Joe is a “The Ready State” Coach and Movement and Mobility Specialist. We use Dr Kelly Starrett’s The Ready State virtual mobility tool combined with resistance training to help our athletes recover more quickly, resolve old injuries, enjoy greater fitness and performance, and provide them with tools to manage pain and avoid future injury.

Be Better Coaching Strength Training Program is personalized to each athlete but has the following common goals:
We utilize functional movement strength training that emphases the movements that are utilized in cycling, running and triathlon. Combined with mobility and movement training we help our athletes “pre-hab” to avoid and prevent injury as much as humanly possible; when supported by healthy eating, and proper amounts of sleep, hydration, and recovery.
Movement & Mobility Consultations
We offer virtual Movement & Mobility Consultations. Our virtual consults are via Skype, Zoom, Facetime Google Duo, or by phone. During these evaluations, we focus on your current performance limitations through a detailed movement analysis of your initial The Ready State Assessment. This analysis will help establish the need for more detailed assessments and/or a comprehensive plan of action to improve both motor control and mobility restrictions.

Virtual Movement & Mobility Consultations
Price: $200 – 1 hour
The consultation occurs after the athlete provides a video of The Ready State Assessment. Phone consultations are available but if a detailed movement analysis is desired. Video(s) will need to be sent via email to accomplish your assessment.
Virtual Movement and Strength Training
These are follow-up sessions to a virtual consult and will consist of more detailed follow up assessments and/or focus on progressing plan of care and not address new issues. The goal of these follow up is to provide the athlete with the tools to participate in their sport(s) injury and pain free as possible. Our Strength Training for cyclists, runners and triathletes includes mental coaching and world-class strength program tailored to you allowing you to crush your goals and avoid injuries. Includes free membership for The Ready State Website during treatment period.
